The HSMA programme launched in April 2016 with participants from a broad array of backgrounds.
Six Health Service Modelling Associates from Trusts across the UK's South West were released from their substantive roles for one day a week to undertake modelling, simulation and analysis work on projects within their own organisations.
The HSMAs were each paired with one of PenCLAHRC's modelling experts and received mentoring, support and training. They were also supported in their own organisation by an HSMA Workplace Supervisor.
Lasting for twelve months, the programme has helped to build modelling capacity within the NHS and fostered a support network to promote collaboration between Trusts. You can find out more about each of these projects below.
